We are proud to provide virtual therapy services. In addition to being convenient, virtual therapy eases stigma surrounding mental health and is easy to access. Clients who live beyond a local area or who are unable to come into an office due to a disability or other concerns can find the help they need in an online setting. Virtual therapy also reduces barriers that contribute to missing appointments (e.g. challenges with childcare, commute time, transportation issues, illnesses, and inclement weather). We believe therapy in a virtual setting can help those struggling find relief when issues arise.

Sonia Harris, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh in May 1989. With extensive professional experience in counseling and social support, Ms. Harris has transformed her clinical skills into a passionate calling. She considers her ability to help those wounded by life’s circumstances a “Gift from God.” Through attentive listening and therapeutic expertise, she guides individuals to reclaim their inherent worth, rediscover purpose, and restore hope.

Ms. Harris’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT (TFCBT), employing proven interventions and techniques honed over two decades to facilitate healing, transform thought patterns, and inspire purpose-driven futures. She emphasizes respect, responsibility, and reciprocity as foundational elements of the therapeutic relationship, partnering with clients on their path to emotional and mental restoration.

With a special aptitude for Christian-based counseling, Ms. Harris seamlessly integrates faith into therapy upon request. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s words, “It’s good to have an end to journey towards, but it is the journey that matters in the end,” she remains dedicated to supporting clients throughout their transformative journeys.
